GIS education embedded inside a working recreation center — where students learn mapping tools on real neighborhood data, not a classroom exercise.
Students at the Skyway Recreation Center learn ArcGIS fundamentals through the PEARi Tech Program — mapping their own blocks, parks, and infrastructure gaps, then presenting findings back to the people who live there. It's the model we're building every other program on.
Short-form sessions for residents and community groups on reading maps, public data, and how land decisions actually get made.
GIS curriculum support for teachers who want mapping and spatial thinking in the classroom without building it from scratch.
GIS capacity-building for nonprofits and community organizations that need mapping skills in-house.
GIS is the language those decisions are written in. We teach it so more people are in the room able to speak it.
The GeoJustice Project is our for-profit affiliate — they build the GeoJustice Decision Platform under the motto "Software Equity Matters." We teach the people who will one day use tools like it.
